The 18-year-old veteran is Gleb. Together with his brother he became a victim of repression in Belarus and as a minor escaped from the punishers to Poland. Gleb had barely received asylum when a full-scale war broke out in Ukraine. Immediately after Gleb turned 18, he went to war against the Russian occupiers.
He risked his life many times, was in hot operations, was contused and wounded. After the contusion, Gleb turned from a cheerful and friendly guy into a sad and unsociable one. When Gleb came back to Poland for rehabilitation, he had a family from Ukraine. Now the six of them are living in a 30 square meter room. Gleb sleeps on the floor and has no space of his own and no possibilities for rehabilitation.
We ask for your support for Gleb at the beginning of his journey through life. We call for solidarity — heroes should not be forgotten. Veterans must not be left alone with their problems. Each of your donations is a sign that Gleb is not alone.
