After being released from the penal colony, I have never been able to get a job, they refuse me everywhere because of my criminal record. Plus all the scrutiny of so-called law enforcers: frequent calls to the police department, spontaneous visits home. Unfortunately, all this had a dramatic effect on my psyche. It even comes to the point that every time a neighbor's door bangs, my blood pressure rises. I couldn't go on living like that. As a result, I decided to leave Belarus as I was afraid to go back to prison. I cannot do it yet because I cannot work or earn a living and I have to ask you for help, even though it is very inconvenient for me to do so. All this time I have been living on my savings, but they ran out long ago. I believe in our solidarity, because in 20 we showed that we are the majority and our victory is yet to come.
