My family is in a critical situation right now. Almost two months ago my mom was diagnosed with breast cancer. She needs to undergo chemotherapy and then surgery.
At the moment surgery is not possible because of the size of the tumor and she is undergoing conservative treatment. Due to the lack of places in the hospital, my mother has to go to the doctor almost every week for visits.
My father can't work either, because he had a stroke in the summer and now has to take expensive heart medications for life. My brother was unexpectedly drafted into the army a few months ago.
I cannot fully provide for my family, as I had to leave everything and go away. To be more precise, they wanted to take me away from Tokyo to Belarus in order to “punish” me later for criticizing the management at the Olympic Games. Over the past 2 years, I have been stripped of my bonuses many times and threatened with dismissal for my statements. Also, for my posts and Instagram posts. On top of that, I've been banned from traveling to competitions.
At the moment I am in Poland. From time to time I receive threats, and my reputation in Belarus continues to be damaged. At this moment, my mother needs money for chemotherapy and later for an operation.
