The girl has already undergone surgery and now faces several rounds of chemotherapy. The family needs support to cover medication, travel for treatment in another city, and rehabilitation.
My name is Victoria*. Three and a half years ago, my children and I were forced to leave Belarus and start our lives from scratch abroad. I worked in a state institution, but after 2020 my views no longer aligned with the system. I was asked to resign, and after that, I was unable to find a new job.
We now live in Spain. I am raising two children on my own. I do not yet have a stable job – I take on temporary work, try to help others, and participate in volunteer initiatives. Until recently, we managed somehow. But two months ago, tragedy struck.
My younger daughter developed a tumor on her left forearm, and I immediately sounded the alarm. She was diagnosed with a serious oncological disease – soft tissue sarcoma. Now we are fighting for her life.
Her treatment takes place in a neighboring city, and we travel there by bus. She has already undergone surgery to remove the tumor – it was large, about 11 cm in diameter. Later, doctors determined that another surgery was needed to remove the surrounding soft tissue. The last operation lasted more than six hours. And now she faces a long course of chemotherapy.
This is an enormous emotional burden for our family. The worst thing for a mother is to watch her child go through pain and uncertainty, knowing that so much depends on timely treatment.
I am doing everything I can to ensure my daughter receives proper medical care, but my resources are not enough. I am used to helping others, but today I find myself asking for help.
We would appreciate it if you could support us. Even a small contribution can become part of something bigger and bring my daughter closer to recovery. Your support is a chance to preserve my daughter’s health and allow her to live a full life.
