Denis, my son, was arrested on 10/4/21 and charged under articles 218 — arson and 289 part 2 — terrorism. I and my daughter, a 1st year student, were left without a livelihood. I need money for transfers to the detention center and for living.
I worked in construction. I was building roofs, but with the price of wood increasing threefold and the situation in the country, there is no work, and if something slips through, they prefer young people, and I am already 61 years old.
Since the summer of 2021 my wife got interested in the investigation bodies for her civic position and for her page in “Odnoklassniki”. She was hiding in Belarus for several months and I persuaded the investigator that she was in Poland.
But in October my son was detained and they searched her house and cottage. During the search of the house they found out from the neighbors that my wife hadn't gone anywhere. I had to leave urgently on a humanitarian visa, she is now safe, in Poland in quarantine.
