I, Tsaranu Lyudmila Vladimirovna, took an active part in peaceful protests after the 2020 elections. For this I was twice convicted under Article 23.34. In November 2020 I was kept in the detention center in Pruzhany, where I went on hunger strike.
In December 2020 a criminal case under Article 188 was filed against me. Also, my employer put pressure on me in order to dismiss me. On 06/05/21 I was sentenced to 1.5 years in chemistry without referral by the court of Pruzhany.
On 07/01/23 I served my sentence in full, but because I did not plead guilty and refused to quit my job the pressure on me did not end. And on 30/09/22 I was put on the list of “extremists of Belarus,” and the workplace created conditions impossible for me to perform my duties.
How much is needed?
1600 € — To buy the most necessary things in life (shoes, clothes, food, hygiene products). To buy medicines, pay for housing until I find a job.
