My name is Daniel Kosenko. In November 2021 I was detained because of my active civic position, under the pretext of reposting in Instagram, where there was an image of Lukashenka with the inscription “fascist”. I was imprisoned for 2 months, going through Okrestin, Zhodino and Volodarka. Then I was sentenced to 2 years of “chemistry” with referral to a correctional facility.
Before prison I led holidays, developed with a partner our project Digital Detox (recreation from digital technology) and worked as a tour leader, creating and accompanying youth bus trips. Due to being incarcerated for 2 months, I missed the winter season and failed to make savings. Because of the sentence, I lost my jobs and had to relocate overseas in an emergency.
Today I am safe in Lithuania and need support for the first time for rent until I get back on my feet here. Thank you for any help you can give me.
