I am a Belarusian!
The events that took place in August of 2020 and are still going on, which I could not close my eyes to, have shown me how united and strong our nation is! I am wholeheartedly proud to be a part of something great and I will never give it up!
I am a young guy who is just starting to build his life and never thought it would be necessary to ask for help… But, those in power deprived me of my future in my Belarus. Because of my active life stance and desire to live in a free country, a criminal case was filed against me and I am now facing a real sentence. As a result I was expelled from the university and I have been hiding in different apartments for 9 months in order not to get into the clutches of people who would beat a confession out of me and put me behind bars.
Every day it is more and more difficult for me to hide, and I want to ask those who have the opportunity to help me gather the necessary amount of money to be able to move to a safe place where I will not shudder at the noise in the stairwell with the fear that they came for me.
I and my family would be grateful to anyone who doesn't pass by, even if you don't have any money.
