We are a family of medical professionals who has been active citizens since 2020. On January 22, 2021, a search came to our home and we were detained. While in the TDF, politically motivated criminal charges were filed against us. The investigator-initiated a check on our child's living conditions, and in her appeal to social services, a proposal was made to remove our daughter from the family. My spouse lost his job three times in less than six months. I was pressured by KGB officers.
After six months of fighting the criminal cases against us were suspended, but the pressure from the security services continued. We decided to leave Belarus. We chose Kyiv as the place of our residence. We received a residence permit there and were engaged in the legalization of our diplomas.
On February 24, 2022, the war started in Ukraine — Russian invaders bombed Boryspil, near where we lived. On March 1st we crossed the Ukrainian-Polish border. Now we are dealing with issues of our legalization in Poland. We found a simplified Polish program, under which medical workers can work as a patient's guardian and at the same time confirm their specialist diploma. To participate in the program we need a basic level of Polish language, which means that in the near future we can not start working and we are left without any sources of income. We would be very grateful if you could help us in the first months of life and legalization in Poland.
How much is needed?
2060€ — payment of rent and utilities for 2 months; preparation of documents for a residence permit for two adults and one child; clothes shopping (we only managed to take a few things with us); food shopping
