My name is Yana, I am 30 years old, I have three young children, Anya, Peter and Athena. In October 2021 my husband left a comment in a telegraph chat room “Punishers of Belarus”. There were a lot of emotions at the time and it was hard to contain them, seeing all the lawlessness around.
A year and a half later, that comment turned my life upside down as my husband was sent to prison for a year. With all the hardships I was left alone: rental housing, a mortgage on a house under construction, legal fees. There is no one to help financially, and even this collection I organized out of despair. I am always used to doing everything by myself, without asking anyone for help. But being in the situation in which the authorities put my family, I realize that I simply can't do it alone. My children and their future are at stake, so principles are not important here. Together with our children, we will be grateful to anyone who can help us in any way.
