Prior to Spring 2021, I was employed by a state-owned company. However, due to the fact that I had my own opinion, expressed it, including in telegram channels — I was interested in the authorities, after which I was immediately dismissed. For several months there was an investigation. At the beginning of 2022 I was sentenced to 1.5 years of home “chemistry” under Article 369 of the Criminal Code. The sentence was accompanied by the need to pay fines.
Eight months later, criminal charges were brought against me again, which was accompanied by searches, torture and detention. A couple of months after I was detained, I was convicted again and sentenced to 2.5 home chemo. On top of that — a fine of 2,000 Belarusian rubles.
At the moment there are problems with employment in a small community, not to mention wages. We also have restrictions on physical exertion. I have two dependent children, one of whom is a minor. After the first conviction, I decided that we would cope with everything, no matter what. But now I have decided to ask for help, because it is really hard to live under such circumstances. On top of that, there is also a loan our family took out in 2020 for several years. We would be very grateful for everyone's solidarity and support at this time of life.
