I was brutally detained and beaten up by the security guards in November. A stun gun was used toward me and I was kicked and beaten countless times in the head and chest area with truncheons. After the trial I was kept in the prison of Zhodzina for 13 days. During registration at the ROVD, despite numerous external injuries, I was very rudely denied medical help. After my release, I underwent a medical examination at the LODE center and was diagnosed with a perforated eardrum and two broken ribs.
After a while, the investigative committee became openly interested in me because I resisted my beating. The pro-rector of the Academy of Arts, where I studied, informed me that I would soon be expelled from the university. The day before the closure of the borders of Belarus I managed to leave for Ukraine, to get a Polish national visa and to move to Poland. But now I have almost no financial means left to wait in Poland until October, when I will be provided with housing under the Kalinowski Program. I did not qualify for the winter enrollment in the Program because the Academy administration withheld my documents until February so that I could not continue my studies.
At this time, I need financial assistance to undergo a medical exam for complications from my detention injuries; to extend my rent in Lublin to last until October; and to buy clothes and food.
How much is needed?
3500€ — 1. To renew and continue renting for another four months;
2. Medical examination expenses;
3. Expenses for food, household needs and clothing.
