“The House of Creators is in a critical situation: from September 2024 our partners will not be able to continue paying the rent. Unless we urgently find another source of funding, we will be forced to stop the activities of the House of Creators in the next month.
In the two and a half years of its existence, our House in Warsaw has become a safe and reliable place for the rehabilitation and recovery of repressed creative people from Belarus. We created a space where artists, musicians, actors and other talented Belarusians could find help, resume their activities in a safe environment, share experiences and recover from traumas.
The history of the “House of Creators” in Warsaw is 8 cultural residences through which more than 300 talented Belarusians passed. These are more than 150 people, for whom the House became a place of temporary residence. Here artistic works were born, concerts, exhibitions, open lectures and other events took place. Projects that support and develop Belarusian culture abroad were created here.
If the House closes, we will have no place to realize the already planned projects, including several residencies that we wanted to hold before the New Year.

We need this money to cover the costs of running the House and rent until the end of 2024 (4 months). During this time we will be able to realize planned projects and provide temporary shelter for talented Belarusians who are leaving the country due to ongoing repression.
