Hello!
My name is «Tiger». Definitely, this is not a name – this is my call-sign.
I took part in the protests in August 2020. Before the elections, I supported Svetlana Tikhanovskaya, and after – I went out into the streets. On August 9, I was detained during a raid near the Red Church – I spent several days in a pre-trial detention center. Fortunately, I was not beaten much, but the impressions lasted for a long time.
When the protest activity began to wane, I realized that by staying in the country, I was putting myself at risk. And so I left: first to Ukraine, then — on a Polish visa — to Poland. In the new country, I had to start everything from the very beginning: learn the language, look for a job, settle in from scratch.
When Russia's full-scale invasion of Ukraine began in February 2022, I could not stay away. I volunteered for the Belarusian units fighting for the freedom of Ukraine: I served in the Kalinovsky Regiment and the Belarusian Volunteer Corps. I was an FPV pilot, went on reconnaissance missions, participated in assaults. It was a hard road. In September 2023, I realized that my time had come and ended my service. I returned to Poland, got a job as a courier, rented a place, lived with a dog, and continued to learn the language.
But on May 4, 2025, a car crashed into me. It was not my fault.
I have a broken hip and a metal pin. Now I can barely move. Doctors say that recovery will take at least 4 months. During this time, I will not be able to walk (let alone work as a courier).
Most of the medical expenses are covered by insurance, but I need to somehow pay for my life. I have no family nearby – only you and the belief that I can recover.
Now it’s hard for me to even go to the pharmacy, walk the dog or cook for myself. I can’t work, and for the next few months I will be completely dependent on the support of others.
I’m asking for help because there’s no one else to turn to. Any amount is a huge support. Thank you to everyone who doesn’t pass by.
Long live Belarus. Glory to Ukraine.
