I am an orphan and have no close relatives. On October 4, 2020 I was detained.
On October 4, 2020, I was detained at a march to free political prisoners. People in black clothes detained me, and when I asked for my documents no one provided them. Then they put me in a “truck” where they used violence against me, beating me and demanding to give me my phone password. I said that I wouldn't give them the password, after which the beatings became more violent. Later I was taken to the Central District Police Department, and after the interrogation they threw me back into the truck with the police officers in it. They started beating me again and broke my rib.
After they took me to the TDF — the next day, in a strange room, I was sentenced under Article 23.34 of the Code of Administrative Offences for 13 days. After my administrative arrest — a criminal case under Article 342 paragraph 1 was opened. After serving 6 months in pre-trial detention center-1 my case was tried. I was sentenced to 1.5 years in prison. I was released on December 27, 2021 and now I need help to buy warm clothes, food and rent a house for the first time.
