I, like many Belarusians, disagreed with the fraudulent presidential election in Belarus in August 2020. After the announcement of the election results, I just could not stay at home and stay silent, seeing the injustice in my country.
That's why on August 9 I went out on the street and took part in a peaceful rally to express my civic position. After that I repeatedly participated in other meetings against election fraud in Belarus, against violence and cruelty by the illegitimate authorities. At one of the rallies she was beaten and detained by the police.
She spent three days in the TDF. After these events I got some health problems and my leg began to hurt when walking. I didn't manage to see a doctor in Belarus as I had to leave my country because of the threat of a criminal case for participation in rallies.
Already in Poland my health condition worsened: the pain in my leg and back started to ache. So I made an appointment to see a doctor. I had to wait half a year for a visit and then they made an appointment for an examination. The MRI scan showed the diagnosis (disc extrusion of the L5-S1 intervertebral disc) and an urgent surgery was appointed.
My condition continues to worsen and now any movement brings me severe pain. For this reason, I have not left the house for three months without an acute need (going to the doctor). This surgery will help me get back to a full life without pain.
I will be very grateful for any help.
