Hello! This is the BYSOL fundraising team.
New political prisoners have just been released! This is joyful news – but also deeply worrying. After many years in prison, people are being pushed out of the country, where they will soon face the hardships of exile.
Many have severely damaged health, are confused and disoriented, and are without money or essential documents. Many do not even have a passport or a certificate of release. This means they cannot obtain legal status, see a doctor, receive a pension, or open a bank account. They need our help.
We are launching the Emergency Fundraising Campaign in the amount of €123,000 to support all political prisoners who were released today. All collected funds will be divided equally among those released to support them during the first and most difficult days of emigration.
We appeal to all Belarusians and friends of Belarus: support those who have been through Lukashenko’s prisons and prison camps.
Our main strength is Belarusian solidarity. Our goal is for everyone to feel that there is a community waiting for them and ready to support them.
How will the fundraiser campaign work, and how will the assistance be paid out?
- The fundraiser will run until 31 December 2025.
- Assistance from the Emergency Fundraising Campaign will be paid to prisoners from the group released on 13 December 2025 who were persecuted for political reasons.
- To receive assistance from the Emergency Fundraising Campaign, it is necessary to confirm your intention or contact BYSOL directly by 31 March 2026 inclusive. Telegram contact: @bysol_pzk
- Funds from the Emergency Fundraising Campaign that remain unclaimed by 1 April 2026 will be redistributed among those political prisoners from the group released on 13 December 2025 who applied for assistance (confirmed their intention to receive help).
- BYSOL does not charge commissions; however, the payout amount may be slightly lower due to payment system and bank fees.
