REPORT ON THE FUNDRAISER: “Fundraising for Children of Political Prisoners for preparing to School 2022”
Not all of the 276 children of Belarusian political prisoners were able to hold mom and dad's hand on such a responsible and important day in their lives. But all received a charitable amount from you. It's important!
This is the second year we have held the campaign “Help to children of political prisoners to get ready for school,” and the second year we have helped families prepare their children for school.
We hear a lot from our families of political prisoners about how important it is for them to have support from their own during this difficult time, that help and participation helps them not to be alone with their problems. And these are not just comments, but warm sincere words of gratitude that come from the heart.
Collected in total: 20,726 Euros
Payment made to: 276 children
Amount per child: 75 Euros.
The action was held by Belarusian Solidarity Foundation BYSOL, charity foundation "Country for Life", the initiative to help political prisoners in Belarus "Dissidentby", Belarusian Association "RAZAM e.V.", charity organization Littowin LIONS CLUB.
We would also like to thank the Belarusian community of San Francisco, who joined the action and supported children.

FIVE INITIATIVES HAVE BANDED TOGETHER TO MAKE SEPTEMBER 1ST A CELEBRATION FOR THE CHILDREN OF POLITICAL PRISONERS
The regime offers to take special loans with preferential interest rates to get children ready for school and buy them outerwear, but with “kuplyaytse belaruskaye” conditions. This is the regime's real support for children.
For the families of political prisoners these crumbs, which the regime throws to its citizens, are also inaccessible.
Last year the Belarusian Solidarity Foundation BYSOL, the charity fund “Country for Life” and the initiative to help political prisoners in Belarus Dissidentby joined their efforts to collect financial support for the families of political prisoners who have children of school age (grades 1-11). The collection was successfully completed and the children were prepared for school.
This year's fundraiser is held in partnership with five initiatives to help political prisoners. After all, only by joining together can we stand.
To get help, you need to fill out a form.
Applications for assistance will be accepted until August 10.
Each child will receive 75 euro.
