General fundraising
BYSOL supports released political prisoners and their families, people forced to leave the country, Belarusian volunteers in Ukraine, and initiatives that help Belarusians fight lawlessness in the country.

During the campaign, 166 children from 114 families of political prisoners received assistance in the amount of €100 per child.
The fundraiser in support of the children of Belarusian political prisoners lasted 42 days and was timed to coincide with International Children’s Day and the beginning of the summer holidays. Together, we raised nearly €11,500 during this period. This assistance reaches both children in Belarus and families who have been forced to leave the country.
“I am very grateful to the people who donate to political prisoners and help their children. My children are currently in Belarus, and unfortunately I cannot buy them gifts because I have not yet received a work permit in Lithuania and do not have any income so far. That is why any support is extremely important for us,” wrote a former political prisoner who received assistance for his child.

We have received dozens of similar messages expressing gratitude. Above all, these words of thanks are addressed to you — everyone who supports the Children’s Fundraiser and other initiatives on our platform.
We are also pleased to note that Belarusian communities and organisations abroad joined this year’s Children’s Fundraiser. We are especially grateful to the Association of Belarusians in Denmark, which helped raise and contributed €700. We also thank Belarusian diaspora groups and communities in Philadelphia, the United Kingdom, the Netherlands, the United States, Kraków, and Olsztyn, as well as every caring individual who joined this effort.
Thanks to the solidarity of Belarusians, we raised €11,451. An additional €5,200 was provided by the International Humanitarian Fund.
