BYSOL has started payments to those released on March 19

In 15 days, we raised nearly €104,000. That’s 2,032 donations! BYSOL has already begun the first payments: as of today, we have 21 confirmed applications, and 18 people have already received assistance.

The amount raised has not reached the target — but this does not mean that any of the 250 released individuals will be left without support. Within BYSOL’s support program, every former political prisoner has the opportunity to receive €1,000 — an important form of assistance after release.
