My husband, Sergei Volkov, was detained on May 05, allegedly in the “Pinsk case” and placed in detention center No.6 in Baranovichi. Sergei was charged under part 2 of article 293 of the Criminal Code, related to the events in Pinsk on the night after the elections on August 9. He is currently detained in pre-trial prison #6 in Baranavichy.
He is known in Pinsk as an organizer of cultural events and a volunteer at the city hospital. We are a family with many childre. We have 3 children. We raise a child with disabilities (cerebral palsy). Now the children and I are left without support. My son Victor (he has cerebral palsy) needs treatment (rehabilitation, sanatoriums, supportive therapy) and payment of a loan, the younger son is studying. My younger son Miroslav studies at school, he is finishing 8th grade. Dad has been an inspiration to his sons. Not to mention the fact that he really helped Victor to move, bathe, etc.
We really need financial support. I am not working at the moment, as I am in the process of arranging care for my son who is disabled group 1. In addition, we now need to support our Sergei in prison. We really hope that our daddy will not be sentenced to jail.
How much is needed?
5000€ is the budget for 6 months of life, transfers to my husband, my son's medical treatment and tuition and necessary items for our youngest son.
