This was my first election. Before that I wasn't interested in politics at all. I voted for Svetlana Tihanovskaya. When I found out what happened on August 9-12, I was very worried and began to actively follow what was happening. In October 2020 I went on the march for the first time. I was tried under 23.34 in the same year, because of which I was expelled from university.
After that I went into hiding, working and thinking about what to do next. I decided not to leave the country and to go back to the university. But then I was arrested by GUBOPIK and charged under Article 342 Part 1 “for active participation in mass actions.
Several months in the detention center, dismissal from work, a sentence of 3 years in chemistry with a referral, and, in addition, a lawsuit from the Ministry of Transport for a large sum of money. Now, due to lack of personal savings, I need help to pay for a lawyer and buy basic necessities.
