My name is Mikhail Samborsky.
I am a pediatrician from Bobruisk. I worked in a polyclinic and in the city children's hospital.
Since August 2020 I participated in protests and was a volunteer of ByProsvet (samizdat association of New Belarus), helped political prisoners, and also conducted training classes on first aid.
In December 2022 I was detained by KGB officers without any charges and without any formalization. They offered “cooperation” (recruitment) on pain of jail time for me, my wife and the removal of my children.
Despite the total control, I found an opportunity to inform my colleagues and warn them about the possible detention. After that I fled with my family from Belarus. First to Armenia and then to Poland.
As a result, I lost almost all my property and my job.
We need help to buy school supplies for the children. We have two girls 6 and 13 years old. We also need to buy warm clothes and shoes for winter.
