On December 9, 2021, my son and his wife were visited at home, searched and arrested. Until December 17, they were held in Okrestina, then they were transferred and are still being held in pre-trial detention center #1 in Volodarskogo. They are charged under Article 342 part 1 (organization and preparation of actions that grossly violate public order, or active participation in them) on two episodes (photos from peaceful protests).
I am an unemployed pensioner (since 2011) and my father is a group 1 disabled person (oncology). At this point our family spent Br3,250 for the services of a lawyer: 50 rubles for the initial consultation and 400 rubles for each visit to the lawyer. At least 700 rubles were spent on transfers to the detention center. It took all our savings, and some of the money was borrowed. At the moment we are in a difficult financial situation.
In addition to the usual household needs, money is also needed for tests and medications for my father, whose condition has worsened since my son's arrest. On preferential prescriptions are prescribed only medicines made in the Republic of Belarus, which do not help to improve the quality of life. We have to buy imported drugs at our own expense. I have to pay 200 rubles every month for privatization of the apartment where we live now. We ask for help from all citizens who care, as we can no longer cope on our own.
