My story begins on August 9, 2020. At that time, after the election results were announced, I went out to a peaceful protest because of my disagreement with the arbitrariness of the authorities. I ended up being beaten by the police and shot by a bullet (see photo). After that I spent a week in hospital, after which I had three surgeries. After the hospital, I wrote a report to the police about my injuries, but they turned it down after a while. In response a criminal case was brought against me for attempted murder of riot police officers and organization of mass riots. They started persecuting me: looking for me at my place of registration and demanding I come in to testify. That's when I decided to leave the country, as there was a real threat to my life and freedom. At the moment I need financial support to prepare documents to start a new, normal life in a foreign country. Now I already have an employer, who is ready to accept me, and all that is left is to do all the necessary paperwork.
