On August 10 I found myself in Zhodino(prison) for 3 days. After that, I asked our tenant (police officer) to vacate the room he was renting. As it turned out, the tenant was the commander of the riot squad and wrote a statement. That's how I ended up in the KGB pre-trial detention center, and my wife (also accused) and children watched as the apartment was searched. I was sentenced to a fine of 300 GBV and compensation to the tenant of 4,000 Belarusian rubles “to the victim, for psychological damage ”. They also seized all the valuable property they found in the apartment.
