I am a fighter of the Kalinowski Regiment. My call sign is Wind [call sign has been changed for security reasons, BYSOL Foundation has all supporting documents].
After the election, I actively participated in protests, up until the most recent ones, when only a few people walked. Quick feet saved me more than once. I also supported the people's ultimatum and participated in the strike with my business. For this, they came to me. First the Ministry of Emergency Situations, then other services. They said that my business would not work. So I had to close down, and I left Belarus.
When the war started, I decided to join the fighters of the then still Kalinowski Battalion. At the end of March 2022, I signed a contract, underwent training and joined the combat ranks. I participated in the defense of Nikolaev, Severodonetsk, performed tasks in Zaporozhye and took part in the offensive in the Kherson region.
The most terrible thing in the war is to lose your brothers. I still have nightmares, especially about those who can't be buried yet. Because of sleeping in cellars and trenches, my right arm began to fail. There was also a feeling that my luck, which helped me in operations, might run out, and I had children… So after 4 months of participation in combat operations I wrote an application for discharge.
After my return, I was in a deep depression for about half a year. I locked myself in my apartment and practically did not go out. Now I am working, but so far I only have enough money to pay for my apartment and food.
In order to legalize my profession in Poland, I need to enter a Polish university. And for that I need to pay for the first year of my studies.
I am worried about a joint in my hand — I need an examination. But since there is no legalization, I will go to a private clinic. I also need to get my teeth fixed.
Periodically I have PTSD (post-traumatic stress disorder) and I need EMDR-psychotherapy.
I am also going to move my child from Belarus to Poland to study here — it is safe and has better prospects. So I need to find a bigger apartment and buy things necessary for studying.

How much is needed?
€4700 — 1000 euros for EMDR psychotherapy — that's 20 sessions. 400 euros for dental treatment, 300 euros for medical examination of joints, 1500 for help in renting an apartment for a few months, 1100 euros for the first year of university, 400 euros for the child's school fees.
