I was in town with a friend on August 10, 2020. Suddenly people started gathering and we went to them. When it got dark, the riot police lined up and started going at people and throwing stun grenades. We got in the car and drove away from there. We were standing in a large parking lot when suddenly a bus pulled up with the OMON. I began to leave the parking lot so I wouldn't be detained and happened to run into a man in black, as it turned out he was a policeman.
The traffic policemen stopped me, took me out of the car and arrested me for 15 days. Then they opened a criminal case under Article 363 Part 2. Then the prosecutor reversed the decision of the investigators and they started calling me in for questioning again. The day before the trial, on April 21, 2021, I was forced to leave Belarus on foot, across the border. At the moment I cannot work officially because I am in asylum status.
