My name is Kirill Chertkov. On 14.08.2021 I was detained for participation in the action of August 2020. During the detention I received injuries. After requesting medical help, I was taken from the police department to the hospital, but they couldn't provide it to the full extent, as I was escorted by the police.
After the hospital they took me to pre-trial facility # 1 and placed me in a punishment cell for six days. I could not get in touch with relatives and friends. The court sentenced me to 3 years of “chemo” with a referral. Requested a lawsuit of $8,500. Was released in the courtroom on his own recognizance.
After the appeal, I was forced to leave the country immediately. I left with only what I had with me at that moment: my passport. I didn't have time to take any other things with me.
Now, being in a new country, I am trying to get settled and find a job. I would appreciate help in renting a place to live and buying basic necessities while I am trying to get refugee status, so that I can get a job.
