I am a former activist from Minsk.
I was sentenced to two and a half years in a colony for commenting on the “Zeltser case”. I spent more than 25 months in detention, which seriously affected my health. Dishonest interrogation methods, physical and psychological pressure — all this I endured for my honest position.
After my release, I contacted the By_Help team so they could help pay for my treatment. Thank you so much to them! However, besides the expenses that I can prove with checks (and get reimbursed), there are still ongoing health expenses. Therefore, I am turning to you for help.
Unfortunately, I can't say anything more about myself, because I stay in Belarus and I'm very afraid that I can be found out. But I really hope for your help, which will be the key to a new beginning for me after many months of unjust imprisonment.
