On behalf of the BYSOL Foundation and all participants of the gathering, we sincerely thank everyone who contributed for their active help and solidarity! Through joint efforts, we have collected aid to prepare for school for 237 children of political prisoners.
We express our gratitude to the initiatives and funds that joined the action! These are the “Country for Life” charitable foundation, the initiative to help political prisoners in Belarus Dissidentby, the charitable organization Littowin LIONS CLUB and the Association of Belarusians in America.
I would like to separately note that the Belarusian diaspora from Britain, Boston and New England from The People's Embassy of Belarus in the United Kingdom, NADZEYA-BY.co.uk actively joined the action Citizens of the whole world helped Belarusian children!
The rest of the funds will go to the New Year's collection for gifts for children.
Many families have faced hardships due to political persecution. Parents were undeservedly imprisoned, and children are left without the support of one or sometimes both parents.
But time passes, and very soon little Belarusians will sit down at desks again. Every child needs school supplies, textbooks, clothes and shoes to be able to learn and develop successfully. And what to do for those who do not have enough money to get the kids ready for school?
We are launching a collection to prepare for the new school year for children of political prisoners and people who have been released from prison!
Four initiatives have come together to make a miracle happen again. Fundraising for schoolchildren in grades 1-11 is organized by the Belarus Solidarity Foundation BYSOL, the charity foundation “Country for Life”, the initiative to help political prisoners in Belarus Dissidentby, the charity organization Littowin LIONS CLUB.
We will pay 100€ for each child of politically imprisoned parents.
To get help you need to fill in the form. Applications for help will be accepted from July 12 to July 26.
Let's spend September 1 together with these children, giving them the hope and support they deserve.
